What are industrial inkjet printers?
TIJ marking machines, known as Thermal Inkjet, are characterised by their efficiency and their many advantages over the CIJ marking system.
The ink cartridges of the TIJ printers have integrated components for printing the code, which makes them maintenance-free like the CIJ system and ensures a high marking quality.
The use of a thermal printer is very simple, we just have to:
- Insert the cartridge into the marker
- Program the code or element we want to mark
- Start marking
The printer sends electrical pulses to the cartridge, which heats an air chamber for a few micro seconds, producing a deformation that creates and ejects the droplet, hence the importance of the voltage and pulses of the inks, as well as their origin.

Is maintenance required?

How is it installed?
Very simple. For portable batch or date stamping machines, you simply add the ink and configure the code you want to mark. In the case of marking machines on production lines, the marking machine must first be installed on the production line.
